Indagra & Indagra Food starts Wednesday at Romexpo; 420 companies from 20 countries participate in 2025 edition

The most famous agricultural event in Romania - Indagra & Indagra Food 2025 - opens on Wednesday at the Romexpo Exhibition Center, where 420 companies from 20 countries will participate.

'Indagra & Indagra Food 2025, the most important agricultural and food concept in Romania, takes place between October 29 and November 2, at Romexpo. The edition brings together farmers, processors, technology companies, universities, authorities and professional organizations - all those who today define the development directions of the Romanian agri-food chain. The event is designed as a platform for dialogue, collaboration and action, where solutions, investments and concrete partnerships are openly discussed. The emphasis is on results, on the real transfer of knowledge and on initiatives directly applicable in production and trade', informs a press release from the organizers, transmitted to AGERPRES.

They claim that the Indagra & Indagra Food 2025 fairs manage to bring together, even at a time when the economic environment remains volatile, 420 exhibiting companies, 20 participating countries - including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, the Republic of Moldova, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary, on an exhibition area of ??27,869 sq m, the degree of internationalization being 28%.

'Indagra & Indagra Food 2025 is an edition strategically built for concrete results and authentic collaborations. We have created a format that helps professionals see applied solutions, talk directly with suppliers, understand trends and plan their investments with confidence. It is a pragmatic but lively edition, where ideas, connections and results matter. We invite specialist visitors to join us, explore the content of the conferences, participate in demonstrations and discover in Indagra & Indagra Food 2025 a reliable partner for their own business,' said Oana Netbai, Romexpo commercial director.

Among the events organized within Indagra & Indagra Food 2025 were mentioned: Agrovision Conference - 'Innovation, resilience and sustainability in Romanian agriculture'; 'Romanian product - identity, competitiveness and opportunities in the agri-food chain' - applied discussions on how we can increase added value, strengthen the identity of local products and expand their presence on international markets.

Also, for five days, demonstration programs & competitions will be organized, namely the 2025 International Pizza Championship, a culinary show with the 'Chefi la cutite' team, in partnership with the ILBAH Workshops, outdoor demonstrations: state-of-the-art agricultural machinery and equipment, in action, indoor demonstrations: technologies for the food industry, intended for professionals.

The 2025 edition also includes a livestock area with live specimens (breed cows, buffaloes, sheep, birds - breed chickens, racing and recreational pigeons, ducks, parrots, canaries, peacocks, ostriches, turkeys, guinea fowl, quails - as well as rabbits and donkeys), offering professionals the opportunity for direct evaluation for investment decisions and farm diversification. In addition, the Indagra artisanal & local sector brings together local producers and artisanal brands, with a focus on traceability, clean ingredients and B2B listing (retail, HoReCa, distribution).

In addition to the exhibition itself, visitors can participate in strategic conferences, practical demonstrations and matchmaking sessions organized through the Romexpo application, which facilitates personalized meetings between suppliers, processors, academia and authorities.

'For companies pursuing investments, cost optimization and competitive growth, this edition is a key moment. Here priorities are outlined, solutions are confirmed and partnerships that will matter for the business sector are signed,' the organizers said.
