Cluj: Royal Margareta of Romania Foundation - 35 years of good deeds in photos AGERPRES
The 35-year history of the Royal Margareta of Romania Foundation is presented in a photographic exhibition, the opening of which took place on Friday at the Art Museum in Cluj-Napoca.
The executive director of the Royal Margareta of Romania Foundation, Mugurel Margarit, told AGERPRES that the numerous good deeds of the foundation he leads hope to inspire people for at least another 35 years.

'Today's exhibition, '35 years of good deeds together' is an exhibition that we created together with AGERPRES, who were our partners and were kind enough to allow us to search together in their photo archive, a very rich archive, photos from the history of the Royal Margaret of Romania Foundation and in this way we managed to bring to light 35 years of history in photographs, 35 years in which the Royal Margareta of Romania Foundation existed and in which it helped over 200,000 elderly people, over 35,000 children, almost 400 artists, young artists and over 100 non-governmental organizations. A rich history, which is very difficult to describe in words alone and which I hope will inspire people, people who are present today in Cluj, at the Museum of 'May art, within ArtDesign Days, inspire them to other good deeds for the next 35 years,' said Mugurel Margarit.

The exhibition, entitled '35 years of good deeds together. The Royal Margareta of Romania Foundation in images', takes place within the 4th edition of the ArtDesign Days Festival, which takes place in Cluj-Napoca.
The atmosphere of the event was complemented by several musical moments, performed by Cadmiel Botac - piano and Mihaela Hotea - soprano.

'Constructed as a retrospective of the most important social and cultural initiatives and programs, the exhibition brings to the forefront the concrete impact of the Royal Foundation in support of children, youth and the elderly. The selection emphasizes the contrast between moments of vulnerability and the strength of sustainable solutions. The images on display speak of the transformation of communities and the hope of people. Presented as part of ArtDesign Days, the exhibition is part of an itinerant approach. In this context, the dialogue between documentary photography and contemporary design emphasizes the idea that a healthy society is built on solid aesthetic and moral values,' according to a statement from the organizers.

The exhibition was also presented in the last half of the year in Bucharest and Chisinau, in the Republic of Moldova.AGERPRES (RO - writing by: Marius Septimiu Avram, editing by: Marius Fratila; EN - writing by: Catalin Cristian Trandafir)
