#NadiaYear COSR launches clothing collection 'Perfect 10 by Nadia Comaneci'
The Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (COSR) launched, on Monday, during an event organized at the COSR headquarters, the clothing collection 'Perfect 10 by Nadia Comaneci', created in collaboration with designer Florina Farcas, and which includes 11 unique models.
The former great gymnast sent a video message in which she told those who will choose the clothing collection that bears her name not to forget that they can achieve their own perfection.
'I am very excited to launch 'Perfect 10 by Nadia Comaneci' today, a soul project born from the desire to transform the values of sport into a message about femininity, confidence and elegance. This collection is not just about clothes, it is about discipline, passion, determination and the courage to follow your dreams. Together with designer Florina Farcas, I created 11 models that express simplicity, refinement and attention to detail, because perfection is often hidden in the small things. I am proud that this project came to life in Romania, in Focsani, in the Pandora factory, together with an extraordinary team led by Doru Simiz. I invite you to discover the collection and wear a message of confidence and excellence every day. Thank you for being part of this story and don't forget that everyone can reach their own perfect 10', was the video message sent by Nadia Comaneci.
The President of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee, Mihai Covaliu, said that the clothes in the collection launched on Monday represent Nadia Comaneci very well.
'I saw when she tried them on that they looked great on her. There are a few outfits here that represent her very well, they are very close to her personality, her size, everything that Nadia means. This collection comes as a kind of thanks for everything that Nadia has done for sports in Romania, for gymnasts in Romania, who certainly want to follow in her footsteps. Athletes appreciate not only sports equipment, they also appreciate casual clothes, clothes that must be first and foremost comfortable, they must make you enjoy wearing them. And from what I understood from Nadia, this collection meets these elements. They are made in Romania, close to her area, I think that also mattered a little', said Covaliu.
The President of the Sportspeople's Commission of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee, Ana-Maria Branza, who was actively involved in the creation of the collection, stated that her goal is to see clothes bearing the name of the great champion on the street.
'Today we are launching the limited edition 'Perfect 10 by Nadia Comaneci' and I am incredibly happy. It is the moment when Nadia's entire legacy, the values that guided her in gymnastics, are transposed into a collection of casual clothes and easily, easily Nadia's legacy goes beyond the limits of the gym. Perfection has been achieved in gymnastics, but look, each of us can now wear a piece, because the entire collection has not only been validated, but also tried on by Nadia and she worked together with the designer of the collection to create these outfits that I really want to see around the city. The messages are part of this legacy - 'Born to redefine limits'. She was basically born to redefine limits and this is the message that goes further, that goes in the community. Each of us can exceed our limits and can do something great', said Ana-Maria Branza.
'It is not a collection about ostentatious performance, but about precision, calm and presence, about that form of power that does not need to be strident to be memorable. The concept 'Born to Redefine Limits' becomes the narrative thread of the entire collection, transposed through minimalist silhouettes, contemporary proportions and technical details reinterpreted in a sophisticated aesthetic, located on the border between 'functional wear' and 'high-end fashion'. Each piece is designed for people who carry strength in silence and elegance in movement', said Florina Farcas, the designer of the 'Perfect 10 by Nadia Comaneci' collection.
The Pandora Prod company is currently working on its second project developed for the Romanian sports world, after two years ago, the factory created in collaboration with COSR the outfits worn by the Romanian delegation at the Paris Olympic Games in the summer of 2024.
On July 10, 2025, President Nicusor Dan signed the decree for the promulgation of the Law establishing the year 2026 as the 'Year of Nadia Comaneci', to mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary performances of the Romanian gymnast at the 21st edition of the Summer Olympic Games, held in 1976, in Montreal, the first 10 won in world gymnastics. As part of this project, several events will be organized during 2026, with the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee as their coordinator.
