Romania participates with 32 companies in Hannover Messe
A total of 32 Romanian companies from fields such as energy, automation, industrial supply solutions and engineering are participating over April 20-24 in Hannover Messe - the international trade fair dedicated to the processing industry in Hanover, Germany.
According to a press release from the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Romania), Romanian exhibitors will be present with technological products in three showrooms.
'The large participation is proof of the interest and desire of the Romanian business community to expand their businesses to new markets. The German market is gaining increasing importance for Romanian companies and in this context AHK Romania has intensified its efforts to support the export of Romanian products on this market as well. The figures speak for themselves: trade in goods between Germany and Romania amounted to 42.6 billion euros last year, an increase of 5.7% compared to 2024. Germany's imports from Romania amounted to 19.8 billion euros, an increase of 9.2% compared to the previous year,' said the general director of AHK Romania, Sebastian Metz, quoted in the press release.
Among the Romanian companies that will be present at the fair are: Electrotel, ICPE Actel SA, Electro Alfa International, Marro Electric Systems, Trese Conductori, ENEVO Group, Asti Automation, Fluid Struct, High Contrast, Jibe Company, Qualtech Jr, Rebeldot, Redbee Software, Reshape Digital, Romsoft, Ropardo, Wirtek, Yalos Software Labs, Altur, Compa, Drafil, Electroprecizia Electrical Motors, Irum, Limex Total Group, Mefin, Plasmaterm, Polteks, Romconstruct, Romradiatoare, Rotek Milling, Selwerk etc.
Hannover Messe promotes innovation in key technologies in the fields of research and technology transfer, automation and digitalization, as well as energy and industrial infrastructure.
The participation of 123,000 visitors from 150 countries and 4,000 exhibiting companies is estimated for this year. The most important presences, after Germany, will be China, the Netherlands, Canada, Poland, South Korea and Japan, with Brazil as the partner country.
AHK Romania is the official representation of the German economy. Founded in 2002, AHK has over 700 members and offers companies an important platform for networking, exchanging information and experiences. Through the services it offers and the events it organizes, AHK Romania actively supports German companies in their entry into the Romanian market and is also a partner of Romanian companies interested in the German market.
