PresidentialElections2025/Electoral Authority: Turnout 31.93pct at 1:00 pm against 24.46pct in the first round

As many as 5,743,734 Romanian citizens voted in the second round of the presidential elections by 1:00 pm on Sunday, representing 31.93% of the total number of voters on the electoral lists, according to data provided in real time by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP).
As many as 3,780,749 people voted in urban areas, and 1,962,985 in the rural areas.
Of them, 45,478 voters used the mobile ballot box.
Of the 5,743,734 voters who voted by 1:00 pm, 4,740,562 cast their votes in the country, or 26.35%, and 1,003,172 abroad, respectively 1,000,033 on additional lists and 3,139 by mail. Voting in the diaspora started on Friday (7:00 am,. local time) and ends on Sunday, 9:00 pm (Romania time).
In Bucharest, voter turnout was 28.72%.
