In his opinion, 'Eugen Tomac is not a technocrat, because he is not noted in any field, he is a party activist.'

'Tomac is not independent either because he is the party president (PMP-1.8% of the votes in the last elections). Moreover, Tomac is definitely Dan's representative, because he is his advisor. Tomac's political career is entirely carried out under the skirts of former president Băsescu (an old and skillful Securitate informer under the code name Petrov). If you want to understand the 'independent' Tomac government, you will see that it will be very similar to the 'independent' Carlist government of Guta Tătărescu, which included both the peasants Mihai Ralea, Petre Andrei, Grigore Gafencu and Mihail Ghelmegeanu, as well as the liberals Victor Slăvescu, Ion Nistor or Constantin Angelescu. Moreover, Tătărescu began his career as a statist 'liberal', continued it as a lieutenant of Carol II and ended it as a minister in the communist government of Petru Groza, later ending up in prison. According to the Constitution, the candidate for the position of Prime Minister will request, within 10 days of designation, a vote of confidence from Parliament on the program and the entire list of the Government.

The Government's program and list are debated by the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, in a joint session.
