'Fotogeografica", one of Romania's most prestigious national photography salons, will open on Tuesday
The 'Fotogeografica' exhibition, one of Romania's most prestigious national photography salons, will open on Tuesday at 18:00 at the Multifunctional Centre in Carei, according to a press release from the Bucharest Students' Cultural House.
Organised under the banner of a passion for photography, the Fotogeografica salon brings together outstanding works by talented photographers from across the country, offering an authentic and sensitive perspective on the world we live in. From spectacular landscapes and wildlife imagery to scenes of traditional life and emotionally charged portraits, the exhibition promises a memorable visual experience, the organisers said.
This year's edition has special significance, marking 150 years since the establishment of the Romanian Geographical Society.
The exhibition will be opened by Paul Bordas, founder and organiser of the Fotogeografica National Photography Salon, while the host of the event is Zsolt Bikfalvi, president of the 'Vasile Vénig László' Photo Club in Carei.
The project is carried out by the Bucharest Students' Cultural House under the aegis of the Ministry of Labour Family Youth and Social Solidarity Romania, with support from the 'Gróf Károlyi' Cultural Tourism Promotion Centre Foundation and the 'Vasile Vénig László' Photo Club in Carei.
