InventCor Academy Deva team wins grand award and 17 gold medals at INOST 2026
InventCor Academy Deva team, coordinated by inventor Corneliu Birtok-Baneasa, has won the grand award and 17 gold medals at this year's edition of the INOST 2026 International Exhibition of Inventions, held last week in Banja Luka, in Republika Srpska.
During the event, the delegation from Deva presented 17 research projects, inventions and innovations across several fields, such as automotive and materials engineering, health, occupational safety, educational programmes and student projects.
'The INOST 2026 international jury particularly appreciated the diversity of the fields addressed in our projects, noting their sustainability and applicability, as well as their strong impact on environmental protection. The maturity of the technical solutions presented by our students was also highlighted. At the same time, the grand prize of this invention fair was awarded in recognition of the international results achieved by the young people involved in our mentorship programmes,' inventor Corneliu Birtok-Baneasa, a professor at the Faculty of Engineering in Hunedoara, told AGERPRES on Monday.
The 28th edition of the INOST International Exhibition of Inventions took place between 22 and 24 April in Banja Luka and brought together more than 350 papers and research projects from Croatia, the Philippines, Germany, Italy, Romania, Republika Srpska, the Republic of Moldova, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia and Thailand.
'We have a responsibility to shape the next generation and to provide them with the platforms needed to turn their ideas into real solutions,' inventor Corneliu Birtok-Baneasa also said.
The InventCor Academy is an integral part of the CorneliuGroup Association, a non-governmental organisation aimed at supporting young people with innovative ideas through mentorship programmes and consultancy for the implementation of scientific research projects, inventions and innovations.
