Children's Choir of Romanians in Serbia special guests at the Francisc Hubic Festival in Oradea
The Children's Choir of Romanians in Serbia 'Carmina Felix' is invited to participate, together with the Choir 'Buna Vestire - Francisc Hubic' and the Oradea State Philharmonic Choir, in the 15th edition of the 'Francisc Hubic' Choral Festival, organised in a week by the Greek-Catholic Diocese of Oradea.
According to a press release sent to AGERPRES by the organisers on Friday, the event will take place on October 24, at the Greek-Catholic Cathedral 'Saint Nicholas' in Oradea.
This edition of the festival has a special significance. In the 'Cardinal Iuliu Hossu' National Year, the event is under the sign of commemorating two great personalities of Romanian music: soprano Virginia Zeani, on the 100th anniversary of her birth, and priest, conductor and composer from Bihor, Francisc Hubic.
On this occasion, the following will come together in choral singing: the Children's Choir of Romanians in Serbia 'Carmina Felix', conductor: Roxana Eleonora Cinci, the Choir 'Buna Vestire - Francisc Hubic', conductor: Radu Ioan Muresan and the Oradea State Philharmonic Choir, piano: Camelia Andone, cello: Victor Sandu, conductor: Olga Bejan. The presenter of the choral concert will be actor Richard Balint.
Since the moment of its establishment and up to now, the choir has held over twenty successful concerts in Serbia, Romania and Hungary, standing out for the quality of its performance and the expressive unity of the ensemble. In June 2023, the choir was awarded the Grand Prize at the International Children's Creativity Festival 'Young Artist', the 12th edition, held at the 'Ion Vidu' Art High School in Timisoara.
