IT clusters from Ukraine learn European patterns at Transilvania IT Cluster
Bucharest, Feb 12 /Agerpres/ - IT clusters from Ukraine and the EU will meet in Cluj-Napoca, on February 13-14, for the ITBridge project, to strengthen business ties and accelerate digital transformation.
'IT clusters from Ukraine learn from European patterns: ITBridge Project debuts in Cluj-Napoca. The ITBridge project, a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening collaboration between the European Union and Ukraine in the digital sector, officially debuts in Cluj-Napoca through a launch meeting with the participation of its partners, on February 13-14. Coordinated by Transilvania IT Cluster, the project brings together IT clusters from Ukraine and the EU to strengthen business ties and accelerate digital transformation,' a press release of the Transilvania IT Cluster said on Wednesday.
According to the same source, this meeting marks the first step of a long-term partnership, designed to support Ukrainian IT clusters in integrating into European digital value chains and adopting the best practices of EU clusters.
Representatives of Kharkiv IT Cluster, Dnipro IT Community and Odesa IT Family, together with the Cluster Digital de Catalunya (Spain) and Transilvania IT Cluster (Romania), will collaborate to develop strategic actions aimed at improving the efficiency and resilience of the clusters involved.
'The ITBridge project is built on two main objectives: strengthening IT clusters as drivers of digital transformation - through training, networking opportunities and knowledge exchange; facilitating the integration of Ukrainian IT companies into European markets - through business matchmaking, support for internationalization and strategic collaborations,' the press release added.
During the two-day kick-off meeting in Cluj-Napoca, the partners will establish the action plan for future activities, including training workshops and international networking events, analyze market studies that will provide a better understanding of the EU-Ukraine digital sector, and plan initiatives aimed at connecting Ukrainian SMEs with European partners.
'This partnership is more than an exchange of knowledge - it is a concrete step towards the long-term integration of Ukraine into the European digital ecosystem. By collaborating, we ensure that both Ukrainian and EU IT clusters benefit from shared expertise and new growth opportunities,' said Andrei Martiniuc, the project coordinator for Transilvania IT Cluster, quoted in the press release.
The press release also states that over 400 SMEs are to benefit from this project, ITBridge, which is a 'key initiative to support Ukraine's digital resilience and economic recovery.'
Transilvania IT Cluster brings together over 180 members, including companies, universities, research institutions, local authorities and NGOs, with the aim of stimulating collaboration and innovation. The cluster offers a platform for networking and knowledge exchange, facilitating strategic partnerships and promoting the development of skills and businesses, thus contributing to the economic and sustainable development of the Transylvania region.
