'Three pieces of bad news for the economy clearly and concretely show why Romania urgently needs a reset to change its current misguided direction. Inflation reached 10% in March. Consumption collapsed in February, for the seventh consecutive month. And the International Monetary Fund halved Romania's economic growth forecast - to just 0.7%,' Grindeanu wrote on Facebook.
According to the PSD leader, 'this is not political propaganda, but real data - a shocking snapshot showing that the economy is rapidly deteriorating and that Romanians are increasingly worse off'.
