U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the name of the next United States ambassador to Romania - Darryl Nirenberg, and, in this context, the Romanian presidential advisor for strategic partnerships, Ana Birchall, welcomed him by saying 'welcome to beautiful Romania.'

'Excellent news for Romania and the Strategic Partnership with the United States: President Trump has just announced the next U.S. ambassador to Romania, Mr. Darryl Nirenberg! Congratulations, Darryl! Welcome to beautiful Romania!,' wrote Ana Birchall, presidential advisor for foreign policy, strategic partnerships and Romanians abroad, on her Facebook page.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that Darryl Nirenberg will be the new U.S. ambassador to Bucharest.

'I am pleased to announce that Darryl Nirenberg will serve as the next United States Ambassador to Romania,' Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social network. 'Darryl has been, and will continue to be, a tireless fighter for my America First Agenda. He will help us strengthen our ties with Romania, support our Military partnership, and promote and defend America's Economic and Security Interests abroad.
