Political Studies University to launch procedures to nominate US president Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

The Senate of the Bucharest-based National School of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) on Thursday decided to launch the procedures for nominating US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
'This decision comes as a recognition of president Donald Trump's sustained efforts to promote peace and stability in regions marked by global tensions. Among the diplomatic initiatives that formed the basis of this nomination are his actions to de-escalate the situation in Gaza, his innovative steps to conclude a just peace in Ukraine, as well as his permanent concern to maintain the balance between the main geopolitical actors, at a global level. (...) We recognize the role of president Donald Trump in facilitating diplomatic solutions to end the conflict in Ukraine, respecting the sovereignty of states and according to the Euro-Atlantic values,' said the rector of SNSPA, Remus Pricopie, as quoted in a press release sent to AGERPRES.
According to him, SNSPA will also invite other universities, national and international partners, to join this initiative.
'Donald Trump is an atypical politician, who breaks all the classic patterns, but who is oriented towards achieving his final objective. Since this objective is peace, which translates into security, respect between nations and the prosperity of citizens, then this effort must be recognized and supported at a global level. The appreciation of a strong voice that advocates for peace, such as that of Donald Trump, is fundamental,' said Pricopie.
SNSPA reaffirms its commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to combating threats to security, stability and peace. AGERPRES (RO - writing by: Roberto Stan, EN - writing by: Cristina Zaharia)
