Cotofenesti Helmet and two bracelets to be brought back to Romania next week
The Cotofenesti Helmet and the two Dacian bracelets will be brought back to Romania next week, Government Spokesperson Ioana Dogioiu announced.
The process of returning them to the country will be managed by an interministerial operational group.
'The Cotofenesti Helmet and the two bracelets will return to the country next week. All details regarding this repatriation operation will be provided by the Ministry of Culture. In order to ensure the coherent management of this process, which also involves very important security requirements, an interministerial operational group has been set up at the level of the General Secretariat of the Government and the Prime Minister's Chancellery to manage the return to the country of the Helmet and the two bracelets,' she told a press conference held at Victoria Palace.
At Thursday's Government meeting, an update was presented regarding the repatriation and the campaign to promote the Cotofenesti Helmet and the two Dacian bracelets recovered after the theft from the Drents Museum in the Netherlands.
