The University of Oradea and the Technical University of Moldova have signed a partnership agreement aimed at developing academic and scientific cooperation, university exchanges and joint projects in areas such as green energy, the circular economy, engineering and new technologies.

According to a press release from the University of Oradea, the agreement was signed on Wednesday by the rectors of the two institutions, Professor Constantin Bungau and Professor Viorel Bostan, both habilitated doctors, during a meeting held at the University of Oradea.

'I am happy to have finally made it to Oradea,' said the rector of the Technical University of Moldova, expressing his desire to strengthen relations between the two university centres.

Daniela Pojar, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Finance at the Chisinau-based institution, stressed in turn that the time had come for universities 'to truly develop their partnership and cooperation.'
