The multimedia show 'Brancusi, my Love', written and performed by actress Claudia Motea, will be staged on February 20, in Brussels, Belgium, in the elegant Hall of Mirrors (Spiegelzaal) within the GC De Markten cultural centre.

The event is part of the events dedicated to the 'Brancusi Year' and invites the Romanian and international public to discover a deeply human side of the great sculptor, through a production that combines theatre, music, projections and the bohemian atmosphere of Paris with the vibration of Romanian roots, according to the show's producer.

'To me, staging the show 'Brancusi, My Love!' in Brussels is a truly special moment. I feel that I carry with me a part of the soul of Romanian culture and even in the heart of Europe. Bringing Brancusi to the elegant Hall of Mirrors in GC De Markten is a great joy, but also a great responsibility. The event is organised with support fom Arthis - Belgian-Romanian House of Culture and the UZPR Europe Branch, to which I am deeply grateful. Without the beautiful people from these communities, who believe in the power of art to bring souls together, this meeting would not have been possible,' Motea told AGERPRES on Monday.

Inspired by the homonymous book by the Romanian-Canadian actress-writer Claudia Motea, the show explores the intimate universe of Constantin Brancusi through stories of the women who influenced his life and creation.

After the show, the evening will continue with the presentation of the book 'Brancusi, My Love', published by Creator Publishing House (Libris) and translated into 12 languages. The public is invited to participate in a session of autographs and photographs with the actress and author Claudia Motea, in a moment of direct encounter with the artistic universe that inspired the show.

After Brussels, the tour 'Brancusi, My Love' continues its journey: on February 23, at the National Theatre House in Bucharest, where the show is already sold-out, then on March 5 at the Dalles Hall, on March 17 at the Ploiesti Philharmonic Hall, and on April 6, again, on the stage of the National Theatre.
