Constanta: Newest attraction of Mamaia resort - first Instagrammable spots inaugurated
The Mamaia-Constanta Destination Management Organization launches two spectacular visual installations for tourists eager for memorable photos.
''Mamaia resort adds a new dimension to the holiday experience: the first two official Instagrammable spots have been inaugurated, designed specifically to attract active tourists on social media and promote the image of the Romanian seaside in a creative way. The first spot - titled #LoveIsInTheAir - is located in the parking lot next to Club Fratelli Mamaia and captures the essence of summer by the sea - fun, love and urban vibe. The second spot, #EroiiRomânieiChic, is located at Piateta Perla and pays homage to the heroes of Romanian music and art who made history on the stage of the Mamaia Festival'', informs a press release sent on Saturday by AGERPRES.
In the coming period, four more Instagrammable points will be installed in surprise locations in the resort.
'We want Mamaia to become not only a relaxation destination, but also a space that inspires and challenges the creativity of tourists. These installations are just the first step in a series of actions that transform the resort into a visual landmark, worthy of the most popular European destinations. #LoveIsInTheAir was designed for the club area, which is associated with the vibrant vibe, summer energy and unforgettable moments - love, fun, friends, life lived to the fullest. In contrast, #EroiiRomânieiChic, located in Pițeta Perla, is an elegant homage to the great Romanian artists who shone on the stage of the Mamaia Festival - a reconnection with the musical past of the resort, reinterpreted in a cool, current way. We wanted to combine emotion, the identity of the place and a touch of visual spectacle - and tourists are invited to discover them and take them further, online', said George Mândila, president of the Mamaia-Constanta Destination Management Organization.
The installations were made to create 'Instagrammable' moments that would end up in the feeds of tourists from Romania and abroad.
The project is part of a larger plan for the visual and digital revitalization of the resort, carried out by OMD Mamaia-Constanta, in collaboration with local partners from tourism and the creative industry.
OMD Mamaia-Constanta encourages all tourists and locals to visit these photo spots, take photos and post them on social networks using the official hashtags #LoveIsInTheAir and #EroiiRomânieiChic.AGERPRES (RO - writing by: Georgiana Tanasescu; EN - writing by: Catalin Cristian Trandafir)
