Tennis: Jaqueline Cristian to play in the quarterfinals at Rabat, Morocco (WTA)

Romanian tennis player Jaqueline Cristian will meet Latvian Anastasija Sevastova in the quarterfinals of the WTA 250 tournament in Rabat (Morocco), with total prizes of 275,094 US dollars, after the Baltic player overcame Turkish Zeynep Sonmez, 6-3, 6-4, in a match on Wednesday.
Jaqueline Cristian (26 years old, 74 WTA), who defeated Spanish Aliona Bolsova in the round of 16 with a symmetrical 7-6 (7/1), 7-6 (7/1), won her only meeting with Sevastova (35 years old, 543 WTA), last year, in the quarterfinals at the Transylvania Open, 6-3, 7-5.
