HealthMin Rafila: Easing some restrictions must come with strict observance of protection measures

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, underscored on Wednesday, at the beginning of the Government meeting, that the relaxation of some of the restrictions established in the context of the pandemic must come with strict observance of measures.
"We agree that during this period we will be able to carry out our activitiesy with slightly relaxed measures - access was included based the COVID medical certificate and for the tested persons, a natural thing - but (...) all economic operators must comply with the legislation. It is very clear that we must not tolerate any breach of the rules," he said.
Rafila added that at the level of the Ministry of Health, the response capacity of hospitals is being analyzed, including access to medical services for patients with pathologies other than COVID-19.
At the same time, we are working on a bill that will allow extended testing, at the level of family doctors, for people with symptoms or who have come into contact with people infected with SARS-CoV-2.
Procedures related to the outpatient treatment of COVID-19 are also being developed to reduce the pressure on hospitals. AGERPRES (RO - author: Irinela Visan, editor: Florin Marin; EN - author: Bogdan Gabaroi, editor: Cristina Zaharia)
