Romanian Army is hiring; almost 7,000 people - record for last decade (DefMin Miruta)
The Ministry of National Defense is putting up for competition almost 7,000 positions of soldiers, corporals and sergeants throughout the country.
''The Romanian Army is hiring. Almost 7 thousand people, a record for the last decade. Among the plans I came to the ministry with were: equipping the army with modern technology; refreshing human resources. We are on schedule with both: the largest program of equipping with state-of-the-art technology has just been carried out in less than a year and has just been signed, and as of September 7, 6,763 new colleagues who will be declared admitted in the 38 counties where recruitment is taking place will begin their service'', the interim Minister of Defense, Radu Miruta wrote on Tuesday on Facebook.
The Ministry of National Defense has come up with a series of specifications regarding the minimum conditions that a candidate must meet:
* Age: 18 - 45 years old;
* Minimum 10 completed classes;
* No need for higher education or previous military experience.
