Cotroceni consultations/ PSD's Grindeanu tells President PSD is ready to assume government responsibility
Social Democratic Party (PSD) leader Sorin Grindeanu said on Tuesday, following consultations with President Nicusor Dan, that the PSD is ready to assume government responsibility.
'Today, the PSD informed the President of Romania that it is prepared to assume government responsibility. We have said the same thing at previous meetings. We are awaiting the conclusion of these consultations. The PSD is ready to form a Government and, following the discussions the president will hold, we would like to see it take office as quickly as possible,' Sorin Grindeanu said in a press statement at the Cotroceni Palace.
