Film lovers in Timisoara will have the opportunity on Tuesday evening to meet Florin Piersic, the actor behind some of Romanian cinema's most memorable characters, during the 'Florin Piersic 90' anniversary gala

Described by organisers as a cultural heritage event, the gala continues its national tour after successful editions in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca and arrives in Timisoara, according to a press release issued by SpectacolTM.

The event is dedicated to one of the most beloved and charismatic figures of Romanian theatre and cinema and is conceived as a tribute to Florin Piersic, celebrating his legendary career and offering audiences a direct encounter with the actor who has enjoyed their support for decades.

Inspired by prestigious international gala formats, the production combines theatre, music and genuine emotion in a unique stage experience. As in previous editions, Florin Piersic will share stories, memories and reflections on a life devoted to the arts, turning each performance into a unique dialogue between artist and audience.

The Peaches Band, which accompanies Piersic throughout the tour, plays a key role in creating the atmosphere, with music serving as a bridge between generations and enhancing the emotional dimension of the show.

''Florin Piersic '90' is not just a performance. It is a meeting, a state of mind, a form of living memory,' the organisers said.

The gala is organised by SpectacolTM, a project of the Poftim Cultura Association dedicated to developing and promoting large-scale cultural events in Romania. AGERPRES (RO - writing by: Otilia Halunga; EN - writing by: Simona Iacob)
