The Europe Day reception at Cotroceni Presidential Palace, which was due to take place on Saturday, has been cancelled, and the visit of President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola will be rescheduled.
The event was cancelled in light of developments on the domestic political scene following the adoption of the motion of no confidence in Parliament.
'This decision was made considering the current political context and recent developments, which require the full concentration of institutional efforts on identifying solutions to manage the current situation,' the Presidential Administration said.
