#NadiaYear/120 gymnasts from Giurgiu preparing gymnastics festival dedicated to Nadia Comaneci
A total of 120 gymnasts from Giurgiu, aged between 3 and 18, are training intensively at the 'Alba Ca Zapada' (Snow White) gymnastics hall in the city, together with the vice-president of the Gimnastica pentru Toti (Gymnastics for All) Technical Committee within the Romanian Gymnastics Federation, Flori Iordache, in preparation for a gymnastics festival dedicated to Nadia Comaneci.
'I am a choreographer, coach and association founder, and we are now watching a training session of the gymnastics group of girls aged between 3 and 6. They attend gymnastics and dance classes as extracurricular activities and are currently preparing for the Gym For All gymnastics festival dedicated to Nadia Comaneci, which will take place on 25 April at the ‘Chauncey Hardy' Sports Hall in Giurgiu. In total, we have 120 gymnasts aged between 3 and 18 training at the hall,' Flori Iordache told AGERPRES.

The event is organised by the Millenium Art Association, with the support of Giurgiu City Hall and the Giurgiu Red Cross branch.
'We want to support Romanian gymnastics and the dreams of the young girls training within our association. The festival we are preparing is an event dedicated to passion, elegance and performance in sport, as this year we celebrate the Nadia Year, marking 50 years since the first perfect ten in the history of Olympic gymnastics, as well as the creative spirit of Constantin Brancusi, so we thought of combining sport and art in an event organised here in Giurgiu, and we hope that this first edition dedicated to Nadia Comaneci will not stop here,' added the vice-president of the Gymnastics for All Technical Committee.

'We have not sent Nadia a personal message, we will dedicate the event to her and share it on social media, and we hope that our thoughts, directed with gratitude towards her for everything she has given to Romanian sport, will reach her. Nadia is a source of inspiration for me, I grew up with her, we developed alongside her, and she will certainly remain a symbol for current and future generations in Romanian sport,' Flori Iordache also said.

Flori Iordache has been coaching gymnasts for 30 years and works annually with 120 girls aged between 3 and 18 at the training hall.
