PresidentialElection2025/AEP: 24.46% voter turnout as of 1:00 PM

As of 1:00 PM, 4,399,722 voters had cast their ballots in the first round of the presidential election, representing 24.46% of the total number of registered voters, according to real-time data provided by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP).
In urban areas, 2,749,926 voters cast their votes, while in rural areas there were 1,649,796 voters.
A total of 35,903 voters cast their ballots using mobile ballot boxes.
Out of the 4,399,722 voters who had voted by 1:00 PM, 3,835,889 voted inside Romania (21.32% turnout), 563,833 voted abroad, of whom
559,727 on supplementary lists and 4,106 by mail voting. Voting abroad started Friday at 7:00 AM local time and continues until Sunday at 9:00 PM (Romania's time).
