'Cinema Arta remains the festival's main venue, but this year's edition aims to take film beyond the conventional cinema hall, closer to communities and into spaces with their own identity (...) The festival will also reach Sita Buzaului, Intorsura Buzaului and Covasna, continuing its efforts to expand access to cinema beyond the municipality of Sfantu Gheorghe,' the organisers said.
EVA FilmMakers Fest also includes a training component coordinated by Mariam Hamdy, comprising workshops and a masterclass, as well as Q&A sessions with the festival's guests.
The festival will close on 27 September with a screening of 'Gentle Monster,' directed by Maria Kreutzer.
