AGERPRES exhibition 'Nadia. Perfection Has a Story' opens during Romanian Film Nights Festival in Iasi
The exhibition 'Nadia. Perfection Has a Story', organised by AGERPRES National News Agency to mark the 50th anniversary of Nadia Comaneci's first perfect 10 at the Olympic Games, will open on Aug. 5 at the Palace of Culture in Iasi as part of the 17th Romanian Film Nights (SFR) Festival.
According to a press release issued by the Moldova National Museum Complex in Iasi, the exhibition will be inaugurated at 4 p.m. on Aug. 5 in the foyer of the 'Stefan Procopiu' Museum of Science and Technology, housed in the Palace of Culture.
'Organised by AGERPRES National News Agency to mark the 50th anniversary of the moment when Nadia Comaneci received the first perfect 10 in the history of the Olympic Games, the exhibition brings together a selection of documentary photographs retracing the extraordinary career of the legendary gymnast and recalling a landmark moment in the history of Romanian sport. The exhibition will be open to the public from Aug. 5 to Sept. 5,' the press release says.
The Moldova Ethnographic Museum will host later that day, at 5 p.m., the opening of the exhibition What Didn't Make It into The New Year That Never Came, attended by the film's director, Bogdan Muresanu. Running until Sept. 6, the exhibition features a selection from the 114 minutes of footage omitted from the final cut of The New Year That Never Came, offering visitors an insight into the filmmaking process and the crucial role of editing in shaping a film's final form.

The two exhibitions hosted by the Palace of Culture complement this year's theme, Therapy, enriching the dialogue between film, art and the public.
