Oradea Arena to host Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup at the end of July
Oradea Arena will host the Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup and RomGym Trophy 2026 from July 31 to August 2, an international competition expected to attract athletes from 12 countries and marking the 50th anniversary of Nadia Comaneci's first perfect 10 at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games.
According to a press release issued by Oradea City Hall, the three-day event will bring together athletes, coaches and officials from around the world, turning Oradea into a major centre for international aerobic gymnastics.
The event is being held under the symbolic theme 'Nadia 10', marking five decades since Nadia Comaneci's historic achievement at the 1976 Olympic Games.
Delegations from Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine and Hungary have confirmed their participation in this year's edition. AGERPRES (RO - writing by: Eugenia Pasca; EN - writing by: Cristina Zaharia)
