Challenges of new era and strategies for sustainable future at the 11th Delphi Economic Forum
The 11th edition of the Delphi Economic Forum will take place between 22 and 25 April, focusing on highlighting the challenges of the new era and developing strategies for a sustainable and resilient future, ekathimerini.com reports.
According to a press release from the organisers, participants will include the President of Greece, Konstantinos Tasoulas, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, heads of state and government, EU officials, and internationally recognised institutional figures, including European Council President Antonio Costa, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, European Chief Prosecutor Laura Codruta Kovesi, and European Stability Mechanism Managing Director Pierre Gramegna, among others.
The DEF XI discussions will focus on reshaping international relations, the energy transition, sustainable economic development, and the promotion of socially responsible prosperity models.
Romanian speakers include Cristian Busoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, Sorin Dan Moldovan, Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence, Simona Cojocaru, Director of Defence Policy at the Ministry of National Defence, Claudia-Victoria Nicolae, Director-General of the AGERPRES National News Agency, and George Scutaru, CEO of the New Strategy Center.
According to a European Commission press release, from Wednesday to Saturday, 25 April, the Commission will be represented at the forum by Executive Vice-President for a Clean, Just and Competitive Transition Teresa Ribera, Commissioner for Economy, Productivity, Implementation and Simplification Valdis Dombrovskis, Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Suica, Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans Costas Kadis, and Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism Apostolos Tzitzikostas.
