Former President Ion Iliescu in critical condition, receiving maximum intensive care
The general health condition of former President Ion Iliescu has lately deteriorated to critical, as multiple organs are progressively shutting down, announced on Saturday the 'Prof. Dr. Agrippa Ionescu' Emergency Clinical Hospital, where he is being treated.
'The patient's general condition has deteriorated to critical, following the advance of multiple organ dysfunctions, with severe breathing impairment and significantly reduced ventilatory capacity. He is getting maximum intensive care, under the supervision of a multidisciplinary medical team,' the hospital's representatives stated on Facebook.
