Independent candidate Nicusor Dan obtained 5,309,832 votes (54.22%) in the second round of Romania's presidential election, according to real-time data released on Sunday evening on the website of the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) after the centralization of 19,091 minutes (95.05%). George Simion, the candidate of the Alliance for the Unity of Romanians (AUR) is second, with 4,482,565 votes, representing 45.78%.
