Bucharest, March 20 /Agerpres/ - The government on Thursday approved the representation of Romania this year at ten international book fairs.

'Romania is committed to being represented in 2025 at ten international book fairs - and I will name them, because purchase books and the book market are equally important and so is reading, especially. A ranking in which Romania does not do very well at European level and there is a lot of room there to promote reading in the first place and, obviously, the purchase of books,' according to governmental spokesperson Mihai Constantin.

He added that following the approval of the measure, Romania will be displaying at the international book fairs in Leipzig, Poland, Cairo, Frankfurt, Prague, Budapest, Thessaloniki, Sofia, Istanbul and Bratislava.
