Romania to host Men's U18 Water Polo European Championship in Oradea

Romania will host the Men's Under-18 Water Polo European Championship, which will take place from August 18 to 24, 2025, in Oradea, the Romanian Water Polo Federation reported on its official Facebook page.

'This tournament is not just about competition, but about dreams, ambition, and the passion that unites athletes and their supporters. In 2025, Romania will become the stage where future great champions will showcase their talent. We thank the local authorities in Oradea for their support and for helping us make this event unforgettable. Romania, get ready to stand by these young water polo players. Let's support them and show them the passion and power of a Romanian audience,' the post reads.

The 16 teams participating in the U18 European Championship are: Greece, Serbia, Spain, Hungary, Montenegro, Italy, Croatia, the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Malta, France, Georgia, Ukraine, Poland and Romania.
