Justice Ministry launches NGO National Register Portal with online establishment or administrative procedures
The Justice Ministry (MJ) announced on Friday that it launched the NGO National Register Portal, a new digital platform dedicated to associations, foundations and federations.
According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, the Justice Ministry completed the project on the modernisation of the electronic register of associations, foundations and federations and associated registers, including the Register of Real Beneficiaries, thus launching the NGO National Register Portal.
'Through the new digital platform, citizens and non-governmental organisations' representatives will be able to carry out remotely a series of administrative demarches involving the establishment and functioning of an association, foundation or federation, without having to go on site to conduct such formalities,' the press release reads.
Therefore, the quoted source mentions, persons wanting the set up an NGO will be able to upload online the required documents and the existing organisations representatives will also be able to request online modifications regarding the founding act, status or headquarters of the organisation, as well as other administrative operations.
Moreover, the portal will allow data and information request from the NGO National Register, thus offering faster and easier access to available information, the ministry mentions.
The platform allows the online upload of forms and documents, the online payment of taxes related to the requests filed and the real-time monitoring of the solving status.
'This way, a series of procedures that entailed time and travel can be now carried out remotely, in a much simpler and more accessible manner. Digitisation means firstly time saved for people. By developing these services in the online environment, the Justice Ministry plans to simplify the citizens' and organisations' interaction with the public administration and courts, reduce the time allotted to procedures and offer faster access to the services and information they need,' the Justice Ministry shows.
According to the press release, the project, implemented under the National Resilience and Recovery Plan (PNRR) funding, is part of the public services digital transformation process and making the procedures related to NGOs easier, more transparent and more accessible.
