PM Bolojan: 'Wake up, Romanian!' is a symbol of the continuity of the Romanian state and uniting values
Respect for the anthem also means respect for those who contributed to the freedom, dignity and development of this country, interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said in a message addressed on July 29, Romania's National Anthem Day.
'Today, on National Anthem Day, we remember that the symbols of a state have value when they are supported by the deeds of the people and the trust we build together. ' Wake up, Romanian!' is a symbol of the continuity of the Romanian state and of the values that unite us. Respect for the anthem also means respect for those who contributed to the freedom, dignity and development of this country,' Bolojan wrote on Wednesday in a social media post.
He added that the present generation has the duty to leave to future generations 'a stronger, better administered and more united Romania.'
