President Nicusor Dan, who met on Monday with Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand, emphasized the importance of continuing joint projects in areas such as security, nuclear energy, and industrial cooperation.

'Romania and Canada share a strengthened partnership—one that is continuously developing and deepening—based on shared values and a commitment to defending them. We are determined to pursue all projects of mutual interest in key areas such as security and defense, nuclear energy, the economy, and industrial cooperation. I thanked Canada for its commitment to NATO's Eastern Flank and for its participation in the Black Sea mine-clearing mission,' the president stated in a message on X.
