Iron Maiden to perform at National Arena in Bucharest on Thursday; Anthrax in opening act

Iron Maiden will perform at the National Arena in Bucharest on Thursday, the show being part of the 'Run For Your Lives' tour marking the band's 50-year career.

According to the organisers, the gates of the National Arena will open to spectators at 17:00, while the opening act, beginning at 19:00, will feature legendary American band Anthrax from thrash metal's 'Big Four'.

The Iron Maiden show is expected to begin at 20:40. The average duration of the performance will be approximately two hours (main set plus encore), the organisers detailed.

Spectators will have the opportunity to hear hits such as Murders in the Rue Morgue, Wrathchild, Phantom of the Opera, The Number of the Beast, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, Aces High and Wasted Years.

The stadium roof will remain open throughout the concert regardless of weather conditions.

Access to the Iron Maiden concert at the National Arena is permitted only with tickets purchased from Ironmaiden.Emagic.ro, Tickets.Emagic.ro and iaBilet.ro. Entry will not be permitted with tickets purchased from other sources.

Access to the concert area will be via Basarabia Boulevard (stand tickets), Maior Coravu Street (Standing - Pitch and stand M tickets) and Pierre de Coubertin Boulevard (Standing - Pitch tickets).

Children of all ages require a full-price ticket for entry. Minors under the age of 16 may attend only if accompanied by an adult holding a valid ticket. One adult may accompany a maximum of four minors. Attendance by children under the age of 12 is not recommended due to the very high sound levels and is entirely at the parents' own responsibility. The use of hearing protection headphones is recommended.

Entry to the concert area with drinks and food purchased outside the venue perimeter will not be permitted, nor with glass objects (including perfume bottles of any size, any other bottles or deodorants), aluminium cans, tins, fireworks, banners mounted on poles, sprays, lasers, chairs, weapons, blunt objects, laptops, mini fans, chains, umbrellas, pets, backpacks, motorcycle helmets, bulky luggage larger than an A4 sheet, selfie sticks, binoculars, professional cameras, audio or video recording devices of any kind or GoPro devices, bicycles, motorcycles, scooters or skateboards.

Permitted items include empty reusable plastic sports bottles of up to 750 ml, compact cameras, lighters, medication (allowed only if accompanied by a prescription, medical letter or equivalent document, with no more than a daily dose), insulin, asthma inhalers, external batteries no larger than a smartphone, vape pens or electronic cigarettes (which may only be used in specially designated areas) and urinary funnels.

Recording of the show is strictly prohibited. The artist's management may confiscate any professional audio or video recording equipment used by event participants. Mobile phones are permitted. Strobe lighting may be used during the performance, which may affect people with photosensitive epilepsy.
