President Nicusor Dan pays visit to BSDA exhibition with son Antim
President Nicusor Dan paid a visit to the Black Sea Defense, Aerospace and Security - BSDA exhibition on Friday together with his son Antim.
They were welcomed by Defence Minister Radu Miruta and admired a replica of the European Champion Clubs' Cup won by Steaua in 1986.
Nicusor Dan and his son then boarded an F-35 aircraft before continuing their visit to the exhibitors' stands.
Black Sea Defense and Aerospace - BSDA, the leading event in the Black Sea region dedicated to the defence and security industry, opened on Wednesday in Bucharest at the Romaero Baneasa platform.
The first two days of the event, Wednesday and Thursday, were reserved exclusively for official, military and business visitors, while on Friday access to the outdoor exhibition was also opened to the general public.
According to a press release issued by the organisers, the 10th edition, marking 20 years since the event's launch, is also the largest organised so far, with more than 550 exhibiting companies from 36 countries. Alongside global industry leaders, more than 30,000 visitors and over 350 high-level Romanian and foreign officials are expected to attend during the three days of BSDA.
