The partnership with the United States is a sustainable construction, already spanning 145 years, declared on Tuesday the Minister of Defense, Radu Miruta, who participated, together with Ambassador Darryl Nirenberg, at the launch of the album ''Romania and the United States of America - 145 years of political-military relations''.

Solid partnerships are built in the same way. And our partnership with the United States is a sustainable construction, already spanning 145 years. This evening, at the launch of the album 'Romania and the United States - 145 years of political-military relations', His Excellency, the US Ambassador to Romania, Mr. Darryl Nirenberg, reaffirmed an essential truth: the strategic partnership between Romania and the United States is stronger than ever'', Miruta wrote on Facebook.
According to him, the true value of a partnership is not measured in easy moments, but in difficult ones.
''When the context becomes complicated, the strength, seriousness and depth of a relationship are clearly seen. And we have demonstrated, without equivocation, that this partnership is a mature, resilient and trustworthy one. (...)
