The Faculty of Business of Babes-Bolyai University (UBB) in Cluj-Napoca has become the first business school in Romania to receive the 'Assurance of Learning' certificate from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), recognising the high quality of its English-language Bachelor's programme in Business Administration, the university announced.

'The certification is the result of participation in the 'AACSB Quality in Assurance of Learning' programme, which only a limited number of business schools worldwide attend. The distinction confirms the quality of educational processes and the faculty's strong commitment to continuously developing academic standards. During the evaluation, AACSB experts noted the faculty's ongoing dedication to improving teaching, the clear structure of assessment processes, and the way academic decisions are based on obtained results. The certification process was coordinated by Associate Professor Dr Monica Maria Coros, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Business,' UBB said in a press release on Tuesday.

According to the cited source, aligning the English-language Business Administration programme with AACSB's rigorous quality standards demonstrates the integrity of learning assessment processes and confirms the faculty's ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations of student competencies and to implement continuous improvement processes focused on enhancing educational performance.
