Romanian fintech draws financing structure of 30 million euros
A Romanian fintech, specialized in digital financing solutions for SMEs, has attracted 30 million euros in financing that will allow it to support over 2,000 small and medium-sized businesses in Romania and Spain.
'The transaction involved the establishment of a securitization fund for Instant Factoring's receivables portfolios - 'Instant Factoring 2025-I, Securitization Fund' in Spain, under the supervision of the CNMV, the Spanish financial markets regulator, with a Luxembourg fund as senior lender. The fund, operational since October 8, 2025, has an initial financing of 7 million euros - 5 million euros allocated to Romania and 2 million euros to Spain - to be gradually expanded up to 30 million euros within the same program. The initiative marks a first for the local market, through the participation of the first Romanian non-banking financial institution in an international securitization structure. The transaction confirms Instant Factoring's role as a pioneer in alternative financial solutions through direct and transparent access to international capital, which will accelerate the development of thousands of small and medium-sized businesses,' reads a press release from Instant Factory, issued on Wednesday to AGERPRES.
According to the cited source, the new strategic partnership brings together the global expertise in capital management of the investment fund with the innovation of a Romanian fintech that has already redefined access to financing for SMEs in Romania.
'The new financing structure offers the company the opportunity to support an annual volume of additional factoring financing of over 200 million euros, which will allow access to rapid working capital for more than 2,000 companies in the two markets. The agreement requires the Luxembourg fund to contribute 80% of the capital, and Instant Factoring 20%, consolidating the financial base necessary to support unlimited access to financing, as the portfolio grows. Through this structure, the effects on the economy are direct and measurable. SMEs will have access to liquidity in just 24 hours, without bureaucracy, additional guarantees or traditional banking constraints, an important step for fluidizing working capital and increasing the competitiveness of entrepreneurs,' the press release states.
According to statistics, the factoring market in Romania is estimated to exceed 10 billion euros this year, while Spain reached 266 billion euros.
With over 100,000 loans granted, 3,000 companies supported and a cumulative volume of over 350 million euros, Instant Factoring has established itself as the regional leader in digital financing for SMEs.
