Online platform 'Ce Fain!' dedicated to Romanian creative design to be launched on Friday in New York by ICR
The online platform 'Ce Fain!' (How Cool!), a project dedicated to promoting Romanian designers and connecting them with the international fashion and design scene, will be officially launched on Friday at the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, during an exclusive gala celebrating contemporary Romanian creativity, innovation, and elegance.
According to a press release from ICR New York, sent to AGERPRES on Monday, the launch gala will feature designers including Puer Designs, Rae Atelier, Senin, Wagner Arte, Little Forest, UAU, Onirik, T.A.G. Creative, Hyperborean Folklore, Catrinel Sabaciag, Arc Studio, and Zestal.
'The launch contributes to strengthening Romania's image as a hub for contemporary, sustainable, and innovative design, capable of harmonising tradition with current global trends. The event also aims to create direct connections between the Romanian and American design scenes, encouraging collaboration, the exchange of ideas, and international visibility for Romanian artists and brands,' reads the release.
Founded by two Romanian-American entrepreneurs, Raluca Bucur and Deeea Rebaltescu, the platform offers a curatorial direction focused on contemporary design, innovation, and cultural relevance, emphasising the reinterpretation of traditional values in modern apparel. It also promotes the integration of sustainability and recycling principles into the creative process, as well as exploration of interdisciplinary territories at the intersection of design, art, fashion, and technology.
ICR New York notes that it runs an annual programme dedicated to the creative industries and design, aimed at supporting the international recognition of Romanian talent in the field. The programme provides a platform for promotion and dialogue for designers, creators, and creative professionals, facilitating direct contact with the American public and industry representatives.
