PresidentialElection2024/AEP announces vote count completed: Calin Georgescu leads with 22.94%, Lasconi next with 19.18%

The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) announced on its website - prezenta.roaep.ro - having fully centralized all 20,059 minutes of the first round of the presidential election. The situation after the final count is as follows:
* Calin Georgescu (independent) - 2,120,404 votes (22.94%)
* Elena Lasconi (Save Romania Union - USR) - 1,772,503 votes (19.18%)
* Marcel Ciolacu (Social Democratic Party - PSD) - 1,769,761 votes (19.15%)
* George Simion (Alliance for the Union of Romanians - AUR) - 1,281,327 votes (13.86%)
* Nicolae Ciuca (National Liberal Party -PNL) - 811,952 votes (8.79%)
* Mircea Geoana (independent) - 583,900 votes (6.32%)
* Hunor Kelemen (Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania - UDMR) - 416,353 votes (4.5%)
* Cristian Diaconescu (independent) - 286,842 votes (3.1%)
* Cristian Terhes (Romanian National Conservative Party - PNCR) - 95,783 votes (1.04%)
* Ana Birchall (independent) - 42,853 votes (0.46%)
* Ludovic Orban (Force of the Right Party) - 20,089 votes (0.22%)
* Sebastian Constantin Popescu - 14,683 votes (0.16%)
